Review of A Boy and His Dog (1975) by Michael D — 20 Jan 2014
This has a fair degree of cult status and is based on a Harlan Ellison short story which is apparently very good - but I found this completely devoid of charm or wit, visually ugly and Don Johnson is the most unmemorably bland leading man in existence.
The dog is good but even his voiceover is annoying and Jason Robards is possibly the only positive thing about this muck.
