For B movie fans and those who like the more obscure titles, this one deserves your cult love. The movie is dripping with low-budget charm. Profoundly dark at times with a morbid sense of humor, it doesn't shy away from the barbarism a post apocalypse brings out in man.
I like how the "heroes" play by the rules of the world and their moral dilemmas and choices they make aren't dictated by the context of today's world in order for the characters to relate to the viewer.
The backstory of this forsaken world is wonderfully dripped out in the beginning between narration, the environment, and dialogue setting for an instantly engrossing world. You can tell why this world inspired Bethesda in the Fallout game series.
