Demian Bichir is great here. The film itself however, is somewhat forgettable. The acting from a lot of the supporting cast is pretty awful, but it doesn't take away from the story or how memorable Bichir's performance is here.
He really does carry the film and brings heart to it. I think families will embrace this film quite a bit or ones who are interested in the story anyways.
