An Hispanic single father with illegal alien status fights to provide a better life for his American-born son and protect him from gang influences. Well, other than being completely tragic and making me cry.
.. VERY good. No wonder Bichir was nominated for the Oscar. So touching and poignant... without a tidy Hollywood ending... It was really very beautiful in a rip your heart out kind of way.
