Without an inch of sentiment, 99 HOMES is that rare American film that transcends the immediacy of the story line to make a truly daring statement against the American Way of Life. Which is here not seen as the savior of the planet, but instead an ugly dog eat dog way of living that is simply inhuman and disgusting.
