Review of 88 Minutes (2007) by Travis R — 17 Mar 2009
Now, I liked the concept. But I just couldn't get into it. They seemed to try too hard to make it suspenseful. Even when Pacino was on the phone, he talked fast, now I understand when you have less then 2 hours to live.
I'm not going to give away anything, just in case some of you still wanna see it, but the whole thing didn't make any sense. Every once and a while they would throw in a flashback that helped the story make sense but it wasn't till the very end, that it all came together and once it did, it just didn't seem as thrilling as they led it to believe.
If you want to take the risk, then go ahead but I wouldn't even bother with this movie, as much as it pains me to say, cause I love Pacino.
