Review of 88 Minutes (2007) by Ant T — 28 Mar 2009
I got this out because I was curious as to how a movie with Pacino in it goes straight to DVD. Well he's not acting he looks like he had a hangover woke up and remembered he had a movie to be in. He gets told he has 88 minutes to live and starts trying to find the killer.
Except there's no poison involved and to be honest he could just go hide for 89 minutes and he'd be fine. The plot is barely fit for tv. It might have been more interesting if they used a real time concept, THEY DON'T.
At least Alicia Witt was nice to look at although I still don't get the Killers motive, I mean I get it but it's just stupid. This movie really has me concerned that Righteous Kill with Deniro and Pacino by the same director will actually be even worse, John Avnet is a classier version of Uwe Boll.
