Review of 88 Minutes (2007) by Logan T — 10 Apr 2010
What a mess of a movie "88 Minutes" is. Throughout most of the movie Al Pacino plays cool as if nothing is wrong (40 minutes after he is told he has 88 minutes to live, Pacino screws around by making phone calls and acting unworried).
The killer is laughable with his unrealistic deep voice and his stupid one-liner "tic-toc doc" that he says during every call. The predictability of the story and the failed attempts to pivot the plotline makes this movie quite awful.
