Review of 88 Minutes (2007) by Kareem S — 09 Mar 2012
The famous old fashioned traditional American thriller recipe ... A deadline of a certain time in which at the end someone dies and the lead carries all the time of the film to solve the mystery within that given time with a good twist at the end that makes you "Huh!" ... Simple, easy and entertaining ... been there seen that .. billion times before ... so I guess thats for the plot's originality.. So if you're looking for taste and style you won't find this one interesting.. however if you're chilling with your friends and wanna sum up the day with a good film ... well I actually recommend it..
Cause however this may sound a little crappy to you, its pretty entertaining with Al in the lead role. I actually love seeing Al on the screen however how the plot sucks and all the character lining doesn't make sense ... but hey come on.. who won't waste a 108 min to watch Al running around with his bigshot kick ass attitude trying to solve the mystery... Frankly speaking .. I would.
