Review of 8 Women (2002) by Sullivan L — 25 Jan 2008
Essentially, this is a remake from Sitcom. Except that Ozon' first film was a poor silly mess. So once again Ozon depicts the implosion of a traditional family from the bourgeoisie that faces the sudden revelation of all its hypocrisies and cruelties.
This time, he manages to make it engaging and somewhat believable.
