Review of 8 Women (2002) by Fazley A — 07 Dec 2011
Most of the time Franoise Ozone fascinates me, this time no difference ! I like his unique style of storytelling, but this is one one of his best. 8 relative women confined in one room and a dead man in upstairs, everyone suspects others to be a potential killer and at first, no one has a motif but in time it turns out everyone has and anyone would be a killer ! Now I'm gonna re quote the plot from IMDB which I find most effective to draw your attention-- :'One murdered man, eight women, each seeming to be more eager than the others to know the truth. Gimme, gimme, gimme some clues to make up my mind. And eventually enter the truth. Oh, thou cruel woman!'.
8/10.
