Review of 8 Mile (2002) by Julia O — 28 Aug 2014
For me I love all types of music and that being so I was introduced into rap at a younger age and Eminem was the first rapper my dad introduced me too (of coarse I could only listen to the clean versions) as I got older the more explicit I would go with his music.
Then finally I saw 8 Mile, Eminem is not the perfect actor, in fact he's pretty bad but I'm glad he did his own movie. Eminem is the Elvis of white rappers and he changed the game forever and opened the doors for so many other white rappers.
In this movie we get Eminem's back story before he became famous we don't get to see his childhood but we do get to see what gets him started. This is a great movie about the greatest white rapper of all time.
