Review of 8 Mile (2002) by Bunny-Tnh — 03 Mar 2022
"Look, if you have one shot or one opportunity.
To seize everything you ever wanted in one moment.
Would you capture it or just let it slit? Yo" Well, I'm an Eminem fan, not the most experienced but not a lay fan tho', and I have to say: it's"Look, if you have one shot or one opportunity.
To seize everything you ever wanted in one moment.
Would you capture it or just let it slit? Yo".
Well, I'm an Eminem fan, not the most experienced but not a lay fan tho', and I have to say: it's a great movie.
The movie basically tells how Jimmy S. Jr's (aka B-Rabbit) life went for a little high to rock bottom with, apparently, no ray of hope. He has no identity, he's broke, no girlfriend, no father, he's humiliated and finds in rap battles and success his way of revenge against those who don't know him and judge him. The movie motivates you not to give up like the artwork and movie main theme "Lose Yourself".
There are also many references (I think it's cool to try to associate them).
Obviously the movie has some "lil' mistakes" but it doesn't interfere the product itself, it's a great movie, a must to stans and a great recommendation for "lay people in Eminem".
