Review of 8 Mile (2002) by Yash B — 17 Apr 2015
"8 Mile" is a movie about rap music that also has a lot of heart and top notch acting. Eminem gives a surprisingly genuine performance and his character is easy to sympathize with. The story is engrossing and the rap scenes are exciting and intense.
I also respect the underlying themes of hard work paying off and overcoming your fears. It's an enjoyable movie that shouldn't be missed if you're a fan of the genre.
