Review of 8 Mile (2002) by Thrall T — 24 Oct 2016
In a world where people were made to believe that you couldn't be what you want one man took a stand, 8 mile starring Marshall Mathers AKA Eminem, Anthony Mackie, Mekhi Phifer, Brittany Murphy, and Michael Shannon, Shows the hard, true, gritty streets in the city of Detroit.
Marshall Mathers in the movie known as "rabbit" has a passion to rap but struggles from stage fright, He doesn't let that stop him. He goes to work everyday hoping to have a "big break".
Struggling with his family also he has a lot to worry about his family, beefing with "free world", and inevitably with himself. This movie has an overall good structure presenting itself with different circumstances so the audience never loses interest its action packed yet emotional in the struggle to be the next big thing, On the other hand it's easy to get lost in the characters not knowing what's happening unless you pay attention to every second.
I'd Rate this movie 4 out of 5 because the general message or consensus that it's trying to get to the audience ( i'll let you find that one out). Plus the story is captivating and interesting.
So kick back put in the movie and enjoy.
