Tense, gripping and intelligent military thriller. Yann Demange's "'71" finds a British soldier caught in the crossfire during a period of political unrest and violence in Belfast. The drama rests firmly on the shoulders of rising star Jack O'Connell ("Starred Up," "Unbroken").
Once again, O'Connell proves himself to be the real deal - a fierce combination of raw talent, emotional acuity and undeniable screen presence.
