Review of 7 Days (2021) by Jluis_001 — 22 Apr 2022
The excuse to bring the characters together felt to me like it tried too hard to make contemporary audiences feel somehow more connected or identified with the unfolding events, but while 7 Days makes some compelling arguments, it's not entirely convincing, and at some points it feels implausible, particularly in its conclusion which is somewhat difficult to genuinely buy, but at least the two main actors, especially Geraldine Viswanathan, manage to make it feel as natural as possible.
Overall 7 Days works enough to feel endearing, but after a while it fails to keep you entertained with what is basically the recollection of their monotony.
