Three stars is my rating for this movie, pretending the last scene was an alternate ending. I know that's lame but for the most part I was pleasantly surprised by the movie and I don't want it's stupid downfall to ruin it as a whole.
There were some masterful scenes in this movie that were truly unnerving. I enjoyed it more than the Shallows, although both suffered stupid endings.
