Review of 47 Meters Down (2017) by Abby R — 04 Dec 2018
47 Meters Down is an intensifying horror movie that will give you chills throughout. It will have your heart pounding. Claire Holt (Kate) and Mandy Moore (Lisa) give a powerful performance throughout the movie to make things seem real.
The two sisters go on vacation in Mexico and decide to go diving in a shark cage. A malfunction occurs with the wench and the cage ends up dropping to the bottom of the ocean floor and their trapped. Claire and Mandy showed fear- they were screaming, crying, and panicking.
Mandy is having a panic attack and sheï¿ 1/2(TM)s crying and breathing fast. Claire is crying but tries to remain calm by believing help will arrive. She attempts to work through the problem and be brave swimming to try to reach help.
She keeps fighting and refuses to give up- she keeps swimming back and forth and never gets tired. ï¿ 1/2I see light, maybe itï¿ 1/2(TM)s someoneï¿ 1/2Â? says Claire. Mandy hallucinating makes it seem realistic her.
Johannes Roberts the director of the movie manages to keep the audienceï¿ 1/2(TM)s interest by keeping things intense and converting scenes to how they would be in real life. He makes the actions of characters seem factual and rational by the way they portray their actions in fear.
The movie can have you feeling happy and then it can switch up and have you feeling nervous. You should take your time out of your day to watch the movie and by the end of the day itï¿ 1/2(TM)ll leave you feeling voiceless.
