Old British men are Haaaaaaarrrrrrrd. As if each and every one of them were channeling Michael Caine or drank his sweat. The story? Hard men in a room with the young lover of one of their wives. Featuring the hardest of the hard.
Ian McShane! John Hurt! Ray Winstone! Downright bastards all of them but I wouldn't want to cross them in a well lit open field at high noon let alone a dark ally. Terrific dialog and tense scenes amount to a film that moves little in the way of plot but makes you shudder in utter weakness to your core when you compare yourself to these hardened men of men.
