Review of 4 Months, 3 Weeks and 2 Days (2007) by Andrew D — 23 Jul 2012
Grimy and real, but not enough story to justify its length. Shots and scenes drag and exist when they could've easily been trimmed or excised completely. The characters aren't particularly likeable or interesting.
Not much happens, just a straightforward detailing of an uncomfortable "back alley" abortion. The massive critical acclaim is unjustified. I would've rather watched a film about Mr. Bebe.
