This film is bleak--and that will put off many people. But don't let it put you off. This film is a strong experience--relentless tension. Admits that people make mistakes under pressure, which is difficult to watch.
Above all, however, the film rings true. And on the rare occasions this happens in cinema you have to confront the ideas of the film.
