For a period horror film it fits the bill. The movie lives up to the hype, and it certainly delivers the gore! Without divulging too much information or spoiling the movie, it's not the ending you would expect. The characters really came through, the only character that didn't seem to fit was Sick Head. His role and dialogue was very arbitrary. His costume and atmosphere seemed off, as if he didn't belong. There ize as a horror fan I give this movie two thumbs way up!!!

Note: if you go into the movie expecting a typical Rob Zombie movie you'll be disappointed. The movie is amazing and I cannot wait for the unrated Bluray, but go into this movie neutral if you want to enjoy it thoroughly.
