Review of 28 Weeks Later (2007) by Branham N — 17 Aug 2013
28 Weeks Later is a movie I got in a double bundle with one of my favorite films ever 28 Days Later at the bottom of some bin at Wal Mart. So I figured I'd buy it because I enjoyed the first one so much.
Believe it or not, I got a pretty ok hour and a half watch out of this one. The sequel has none of the cool aspects of character development and raw realism that the first one had, but it's a competent and very entertaining exercise in the zombie genre nonetheless.
It's all action and not much plot, but the way everything spins out of control throughout the whole movie makes this initially forced sequel more fun than it may seem.
