The way Danny Boyle impeccably combines terrifying, yet gorgeous visuals and a fantastic blend of music (particularly the opening London scene featuring Godspeed You! Black Emperor) is fascinating. But what really adds to the overall feel of the film is his subtle hints of humanitarianism and a sly political agenda.
