Easily one of the best horror movies of the past decade whether you call it a zombie film or an infection film. This film made the idea of the pop culture zombie horrifying again and helped to bring the idea of the zombie apocalypse back into the pop culture collective consciousness.
Few other capture the feeling of loneliness and desolation as well as this one. Truly intense in ways few films of any genre are.
