This movie is way deeper than just a zombie movie. It's a political and cultural commentary on the recklessness of what humans can do and what could happen. I'm just wondering how they were able to film these locations with no one there. I mean it's London, Big Ben! This movie's atmosphere is on a whole another level. It reminds me in many ways of The Last of Us. Especially with the music.
Very beautiful skylines in England. Goddamn! Selena don't play no games. Ruthless as fuck. It's so weird how at times it goes from high adrenaline to all of a sudden having drinks in a living room. I was so caught off guard. I think it's wonderful how there's moments of happiness and lightheartedness amidst all the dross and dead people.
When that Brian Eno song plays, it's so fitting. So beautiful and serene the English countryside. What catches me so off guard about this movie is it's ability to change the mood all of a sudden. I knew something was off about those soldiers in that mansion.
That P.O.V. shot of the jet flying onto of the hill tops and then it shows the town, was breathtaking. I wish to one day visit the English countryside. It's one of the most beautiful places in the world. I could get lost in the hills for days.
I think what's so great about this movie is that it's not just a zombie movie. It's deeper than just that. It's basically a work of art. The movie is one big work of art and if you look deeper into some of the movies moments, you can find deeper meaning in things.
