Review of 24 Hour Party People (2002) by Chris S — 12 Sep 2009
There's such a thing as "too much Steve Coogan". Even despite his disclaims, the film seems to be more about Steve Coogan's character and less about the other people involved in the Manchester music industry.
The scenes where some guys, whom I don't know why they're there, just feed pigeons with bread filled with rat poison and where they see unidentified flying objects and God just completely put me off this film.
And although the music rocks my socks, some of those musicians seem to be just a bunch of assholes and idiots.
