Review of 2010 (1984) by Gino C — 10 Aug 2009

I really liked this film as a 14 year old sci-fi nut, forgot about it for years because I realized that it wasn't anything to 2001, but then saw it again and realized that it's still a damn fine film, if a bit small in scope.

Again, like others of have said, if you don't compare it to 2001, it's great sci-fi. I still get chills with during the opening re-cap when the film bursts into Thus Spoke Zarathustra. And Richard Edlund's FX still hold up.

Back when FX were supposed to look realistic.
