Review of 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968) by Alex G — 23 May 2018
Beautiful, haunting, and often testing of my patience, this film is clearly a masterpiece. It rewards you for living with it as you slowly become one with the piece. Its symbolism and messages are drawn out but poignant.
After the intermission, I thought it exhausting and self indulgent, but by the end I fully appreciated the experience.
