Review of 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968) by Irving C — 01 Oct 2014
Whenever I return to this film I think I'm bound to hate this now. It's well over 2 hours of no real plot and just stunning visuals and ideas which frankly I don't even really get. It's just a beautiful piece of art though from beginning to end and never fails to capture the imagination.
That's without even going into the technical wonders Kubrick pulled off in a landmark film for 1968.
