Made in the year 1968. Before Star Wars and Star Trek, yet the effects are not only astounding but stand up in 2014 with no shortfalls.
An artform production of science fiction. The vision and intelligence of this epic should and deserves to haunt your dreams for a while. Interstellar borrows much and updates, but of any movie ever made this is definitely the most forward thinking and groundbreaking, possibly ever!
Kubrick was the finest movie maker, to be behind such an epic of this magnitude and deliver it so well is nothing short of miraculous!
