Words such "groundbreaking" and "epic" is even not enough to honor the visual art and visual effect and the score/music too if I may.
Exaggerate, eventhough your thought might be total blackout to interpret this film, its mystery and the monolith. If many film critic say that this film is the best sci-fi film ever made, then I definitely agree.
