Review of 2001: A Space Odyssey (1968) by Ahmed M — 07 May 2016

The film might have been amazing when it came out, (1968) for it's vfx and so, but to call it great or a masterpiece just for the special effects and vfx, is plain out wrong. First of all, the starting 20 mins bored me.

After that, the film picks up it's pace and loses it somewhere in the middle. Anyhow, as much as I was disappointed by this movie, I have to say for that time and era this movie was amazing, and the ending was well shot as well as nicely thought.

In conclusion, this movie might appeal to those who prefer movies with a really slow pace, but it might not appeal to those who like a fast paced movie, but I would still recommend this movie to any sci-fi fan.
