Amazing piece of art. keep in mind this movie was made before the first pictures of earth were taken from outerspace, makes the movie even more outatanding. this is not a movie for everyone, it requires deep thinking and a love for the unkown.
the reasons people dislike the movie are skin deep, if you understand it and invest your time in watching this movie (and are a kubrick fan) this a groundbreaking piece of avant garde film. time, love, and detail were put into creating this.
