Review of 1776 (1972) by Subhro R — 22 Aug 2009
Taken from the Broadway stage play, Warner Brothers does this musical right! William Daniels IS John Adams trying to get Congress to adopt the resolution on Independence, but there is some static, including a homesick Thomas Jefferson (The White Shadow's Ken Howard) and entertainingly scheming Ben Franklin (Howard DaSilva)! Highly recommended as a history lesson and grand entertainment in the tradition of old Hollywood!
