Review of 17 Again (2009) by Baurushan J — 30 Nov 2013
In 1989, the story is about 17 year old Mike O'Donnell played by Zac Efron who once had it all to be the king of the basketball court. When he let all of that go for his girlfriend Scarlet, the blame went on her entirely 20 years later when their children became seniors.
Now Mike played by Matthew Perry is transformed back into his 17 year old self again so that he can have another shot at his life and set things right between himself and Scarlet. I remember when this movie first came out, it was advertised everywhere as the movie was that popular especially on the buses I kept seeing this poster which kept driving me crazy and I felt pissed that I never saw the chance to see this movie until now.
Zac Efron steals the show as a young Mike O'Donnell and I don't think he's that bad of an actor in general. I have been waiting all my life to finally watch this movie which brings back a lot of memories of when I was 13 which was also when this movie was first released (not the best year for me) and now I'm finally over it :) 17 Again gets a 8.
5/10.
