Excellent film with some flaws which in turn bring the whole film down a peg. **might contain spoilers** My major qualm was that the director didn't delve more into the lives of the other "players" or make you care for them.
Since you don't know or care for the other characters, you know subconciously that the main character is going to survive the games. This brings down the tension greatly.
