Review of 12 and Holding (2006) by Torstein R — 06 Jul 2007
Michael Cuesta is a filmmaker that I will always be interested in. His debut L.I.E. is an incredible film and he has directed some of the best episodes of Six Feet Under. This, his second film, doesn't quite have the impact of his other work but is still a very good film.
Filled with some wonderfully natural child performances most of the problems are in script with a couple of plot points not quite working as well as some of the other elements. I would recommend this to indie film watchers.
