Review of 12 and Holding (2006) by John E — 27 Aug 2007
Surprisingly good. I think this is among the few movies I've seen which did a good job of treating kids like actual kids, and not as if they were mentally disabled. How they dealt with death, in particular, I thought was excellent.
I had some deaths in my family at a slightly earlier age than the protagonists, but their reaction was far more true to form than most I've seen in movies.
