Review of 12 and Holding (2006) by Brian V — 03 Jan 2008
Not as disturbing as Kids, but a hard-hitting look at the increasingly closing gap between childhood and grown-up life. Three 12 year old friends tackle death, sex and ambition in their own way. The main plot involving the tragic death of a boys twin brother is especially compelling.
Not a blockbuster smash but definitely worth a look.
