Review of 10,000 BC (2008) by Leeway C — 02 Jan 2012
10,000 B.C: 27%.
"I fell asleep during the other 50 or so minutes, I'm sorry but Roland Emmerich should stick with the end of the world kind of movies (still he's not that great when it comes to those movies either)." I agree with whoever said this movie was predictable, it was just too easy for audiences to ravel the ending. Roland Emmerich knows how to do one good thing though, bedazzle us with wild imaginations and visuals of the scenery, etc. which is the only thing (so far) that he can accomplish. It's just that Mr. Emmerich can't keep the audience interested or at the edge even with a few touching moments and some fairly good acting. For those who want to spend watching an hour or so movie about this hunter who loves this girl and wants to rescue her from 10000 year old Egyptians (?), be my guess.
