Review of Warm Springs (2005) by Colleen C — 15 Apr 2009
This was a really different view of FDR. This film is not what you think of when you think of him. The adversity, everything that had to be overcome in order to accomplish all that he did--it's so amazing.
The scene with the train conductor (who's obviously a complete moron) that wouldn't allow the paralyzed boy to ride in the passenger car and instead put him in the baggage car was the most unbelievable to me.
It's ridiculous how people fear what they don't know and don't understand.
