Review of The Black Balloon (2008) by Trevor H — 04 Apr 2008
Superb, intense drama of the trials and tribulations of an Aussie family struggling to maintain their decency through the raising of an autistic child. Toni Collette is, as always, brilliant. This is one of those rare movies that draws on so many of one's emotions, one is left with a feeling of exhaustion at the end.
One gripe - the poster is grossly deceiving and unfair.
