Review of The Black Balloon (2008) by Paul D — 10 Jun 2012
This is an immensely enjoyable and thought-provoking drama about the relationship between two brothers, one of whom has severe autism. It brings it home just how difficult people's lives must be when they have to look after a disabled child, or come to that a disabled adult.
Everything tends to revolve around the disability and a lot of sacrifices are made. This film really got that point across very well with some top-notch acting.
