Review of Sweet Charity (1969) by Martin T — 04 Feb 2010
The film debut for Bob Fosse, who would later rise to prominence with CABARET, LENNY, and ALL THAT JAZZ, but here is stuck with lesser material. There are some fine moments, and Fosse's skill with musical sequences is vividly apparent, but it's otherwise fairly unmemorable.
However, I haven't seen it in a while, so another viewing might soften my opinion.
