Review of Sweet Charity (1969) by U.n. O — 18 Dec 2010
Not a Bob Fosse fan so his musical numbers brought the film down for me. The dramatic scenes were wonderful. Shirley MacLaine was excellent. A somber, yet optimistic story of a young woman searhing for love and her place in the world.
Skip the dance numbers and you might enjoy it.
