Review of L'Avventura (1960) by Carnelia G — 24 Jun 2007
Every shot is breathtaking. Antonioni is a master of letting silence carry across a landscape--the sea, jagged islands, small towns,a church--and letting silence carry such emotional weight. Vitti is divine in this film. Just divine.
