Review of Kiss of Death (1995) by Alexandra W — 13 Dec 2011
Have you ever wondered what it would be like if Lt. Horatio Caine were married to a very young Det. Alex Eames? Have you ever wondered whether Helen Hunt was ever in a film in which she does not get caught in the rain while wearing a white t-shirt sans brassiere? Have you ever wondered if Samuel L.
Jackson could get through an R-rated movie without dropping an Oedipus bomb? Have you ever wondered what it would be like to watch Nicholas Cage benchpress a stripper? Wonder no more because all of those things happen in this movie.
Not actually that bad and kind of fun to watch because of good pacing and solid performances (although Nick Cage's accent is EVERYwhere). In related news, I think I might have a small crush on Stanley Tucci.
He's very good as the bad good guy and he looks great in a suit. Can he please be on Damages as a Patty Hewes love/hate interest?!
