Anxiety, depression, fear, and hopelessness. These are all things Christine must live with every day. Anyone who suffers from these aliments will know how oppressive and tuff life is even without adding the extra stress of a cut throat work place world like broadcast news.
As someone who does suffer from some of these things myself, I feel a very strong empathy for her. It breaks my heart to see her go through so much and know that her story is ultimately a doomed one. Depression is real and while not many people from the outside can see it, those live with it fight back and forth with it in every decision made and ever moment lived.
